The Network
Learning Network Queensland (LNQ) is recognised both nationally and internationally as a best practice example of
education and training service delivery for regional, rural and remote communities.
LNQ’s vision is to meet the challenge of ensuring a
better quality of life for all Queenslanders by helping to build learning communities
so that individuals may have informed and effective participation in every sphere
of life.
In its role as a Recognised Training Organisation (RTO), LNQ fulfills
its vision by delivering selected training programs to
Queensland
communities.
LNQ encourages the development of these learning communities through its 40 established
learning
centres and satellite centres. LNQ supports the provision of continuous learning processes and
whole-of-community learning approaches.
Two of LNQ’s greatest strengths are its long-term active involvement at a local level and its adoption of a “learning communities”
approach to community capacity building. As social, economic and environmental pressures are transforming rural and regional
Queensland
,
the primary challenge for LNQ is to help communities remain vital and to prosper.
