Certificate II in Business Skills for Workforce Re-entry (Planning your Career)
The Certificate II in Business Skills for Workforce Re-entry is an accredited training program. The program seeks to provide structured assistance for people wishing to re-enter the workforce through training in business, administration, computing and job-seeking. The program is funded by the Commonwealth Government and administered under the State Government’s Skilling Queenslanders For Work Initiative and is delivered by Learning Network Queensland through its Learning Centres across the state.
Who is able to participate?
- those who are 45 years or older
- parental job seekers
Course Structure
The full course consists of ten units of competency:
- BSBIND201A - Work Effectively in a Business Environment
- BSBWOR202A - Organise and Complete Daily Work Activities
- BSBCMM201A - Communicate in the Workplace
- BSBWOR203A - Work Effectively with Others
- FNSICGEN305A - Maintain Daily Financial/Business Records
- BSBOHS201A - Participate in OHS Processes
- BSBITU201A - Produce Simple Word Processed Documents
- GENENP201B - Apply an Enterprising Approach in an Approved Project
- GENJAS201B - Develop Job Acquisition Strategies
- GENPCD201B - Access Employment and Training Options
What qualification will be awarded?
- A statement of attainment will be awarded on successful completion of each unit of competency
- A Certificate II in Business Skills for Workforce Re-entry will be awarded on completion of the whole program

How is the program delivered?
The Program is offered in a relaxed and friendly environment with small classes and a caring trainer. Participants engage in group lessons, individual learning, interactive activities, learning from each other, case studies, self-paced learning activities, videos, and guest speakers. The program is now available via flexible
delivery.

Completion of the Planning Your Career program can lead into:
