Microsoft Excel 2003
An introductory course designed to introduce features found in industry standard spreadsheet packages with reference to on-line and written documents, using the Windows software.
This course is suitable for anyone who has an interest in gaining an understanding of Microsoft Excel 2003 and becoming competent in spreadsheets for the workplace.
Students in this course will study a range of topics that include:
- produce an operational spreadsheet to given specifications
- use features of Microsoft excel to create a spreadsheet with headings, relative and absolute values, simple formulas and simple functions
- retrieve an existing worksheet/spreadsheet
- edit an existing spreadsheet to meet specific requirements
- format a spreadsheet to meeting specific requirements
- print a spreadsheet.
