Ciao! An Introduction to Italian
Italian is one of the five romance languages that come from the ancient language of Latin. In choosing to learn Italian, you are not only starting a very exciting learning experience, but you are also preparing for the future.
Once you master the art of speaking Italian and the grammatical rules and principles behind it, then learning the other four Latin based languages becomes so much easier.
Course materials include a sixty minute CD to assist in the practise of speaking the language.
Students in this course will study a range of topics that include:
- learn how to pronounce Italian letters
- learn the basics of reading, writing, understanding and speaking Italian
- learn the basic vocabulary for counting, telling the time, days of week and much more
- develop a basic understanding of grammar
- develop an understanding of Italian to successfully enjoy fluent conversations with people across a wide range of everyday situations
- learn that Italian is indeed fast, fun and easy to learn.
