Getting Into Rural Life
The objective of this course is to help students develop skills in the planning and management of a small rural property. Students are encouraged to develop new skills in natural resources management, goal setting and skills development, Budgeting and financial management, and Business enterprise planning.
Students in this course will study a range of topics that include:
- buying a small rural property
- taking care of the land
- do I have what it takes?
- can I afford my dream?
- produce to market.
