Microsoft Word 2003
This introductory word processing course is designed to enable the student to demonstrate competence in the use of the basic features of a word processing package, in the Windows environment, creating standard business documents. This course is suitable for anyone who has an interest in gaining an understanding of Microsoft Word 2003 and becoming competent in word processing for the workplace.
Students in this course will study a range of topics that include:
- use the basic functions of Microsoft word
- use some advanced functions of Microsoft word
- describe the advantages of word processing
- load and exit a work processing package
- select and use appropriate editing techniques
- select and use appropriate file management functions
- produce useable documents including a variety of formats and display techniques
- manipulate text to edit and/or improve the final document
- determine an appropriate method of printing.
