MS Office Access Package 2003
This course is designed for the student who wishes to learn intermediate-advanced level operations of the Microsoft Access Database program. It is designed for students pursuing the Microsoft Certification for Access 2003, and it is a prerequisite to taking more advanced courses in Access 2003. It is essential for the individual whose job responsibilities include creating new databases, tables, and relationships, as well as working with and revising intermediate-level queries and forms.
Before you begin this program, you should have the basic skills you need to work with a Microsoft Office Access 2003 database.
Use the descriptions below to determine which courses best suit your current needs, or complete them all to achieve the highest competency level.
- Level 1: In this course, you will effectively use all the features of the Microsoft Access 2003 application.
- Level 2: In this course, you will design and create a new Access database; improve queries, forms, and reports; and integrate Access with other applications.
- Level 3: In this course you will create complex Access databases using forms, reports, and macros.
- Level 4: In this course, you will effectively use the advanced features of the Access application and also the VBA programming language.
Hardware and software required:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 (or higher) / Mozilla Firefox 2 (or higher) / Apple Safari 2 (or higher)
- Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, or Vista / Apple Mac OS X 10.4 (or higher)
- Pentium III 1 GHz (or better) / Macintosh Intel-based or PowerPC G4 (or better)
- 512 MB of RAM (1 GB or more recommended)
- 256K internet connection (broadband recommended)
- Adobe Flash Player 8 (current version recommended)
- Adobe Reader 7 (or higher)
