OHS for Aged and Community Care
This program 'OHS for Aged and Community Care' helps you learn about OHS through an approach called Risk Management. This approach is a way of organising what you know and how you act to keep workplaces safe for everyone.
At the completion of the program, you should be able to understand:
- routine and common hazards in the aged care workplace
- the rights and duties of employees and employers regarding OHS
- that OHS is regulated by Commonwealth/State/Territory Acts, Regulations, Codes of Practice and Industry Standards
- the procedures in your workplace for consulting and keeping records about OHS matters.
