Orientation to Aged Care Work

This course is designed to show you some broad issues facing consumers of aged care services and issues facing carers of the older person. This course will also look at how society views ageing, and have an opportunity to reflect on how you view ageing.

Focusing on supporting the rights of the older person and the role you play in ensuring that these rights are recognised and upheld, this course contains information about how you play a role in facilitating older people's rights to make decision and choices.
