Implement and Monitor the Organisation's Procedures for Controlling Risks
This course is designed to help frontline managers manage Occupational Health and Safety risks in the workplace. This includes implementing procedures to control risks and identifying and reporting inadequacies in risk control measures. The course also addresses the importance of monitoring inadequate risk control measures and for organisations to promptly follow up on these. 'Implement and Monitor the Organisations Procedures for Controlling Risks' is the fifth course (of six) in the unit 'Monitor a Safe Workplace'.
On completion of this course you will:
- ensure that procedures to control risks are implemented using the hierarchy of controls and organisational requirements
- ensure that inadequacies in existing risk control measures are identified and reported in accordance with hierarchy of controls
- ensure that outcomes of reported inadequacies are monitored where appropriate to ensure a prompt organisational response.
