Privacy
This Privacy course is designed to help employees understand the New Privacy Regime introduced by the Privacy Amendment Act that came into force on 21 December 2001. The privacy regime sets standards for the way Australian private sector organisations handle and manage personal information about individuals.
On completion of this course you will:
- understand the 10 National Privacy Principles
- understand your obligations as an employee to uphold the Principles
- be able to apply the National Privacy Principles in particular situations in your workplace.
