The Disability Care Act empowers people with disabilities that reside in their own property. It aims at providing disabled people greater independence. It also aims for an improvement in the quality of life for disabled people, so they can do more and enjoy more of their day-today lives. While there are limitations to the Act, it is important to understand that the Act does NOT limit the rights of persons with disabilities to make their own lifestyle decisions and pursue career or recreational activities.

This article highlights some of the major issues concerning the implementation of the Disability Care Act and its protection. It also includes information on how persons with disabilities can claim compensation under this Convention. The article also provides additional guidelines for employers, organizations, and disability care providers. The following text will give a brief overview on the Convention's requirements and what disability professionals should do to ensure compliance.

Persons with mental disabilities are not covered by the Disability Discrimination Act. However, the Act does not apply to persons with mental impairments who reside in their home or with others. The Act also applies to persons with an impairment that requires the use a wheelchair or other similar assistance. Also, those who use crutches need to find suitable accommodation. The Act is intended to enable persons with disabilities to live as independently and as comfortably as other people. It aims at eliminating discrimination against persons with disabilities.

To be entitled to receive the provision of the Act, persons who would be denied the right to live in any premises or those who would have been denied access to places of public accommodation, need first to establish that they would suffer unfair discrimination if not given disability live-in care. Along with other procedural or related benefits, the Act grants you the right to live anywhere you choose. To be eligible for disability live-in care, a person must first prove that they need it.

The Disability Discrimination Act covers all aspects of the lives of persons with disability. Although the Act does not specifically mention persons with mental disabilities, it emphasizes the importance of equal opportunity in all aspects of life. The Act states that all persons must have equal access to the benefits, goods, and services of the establishment or business in which they work or seek to work. This Act promotes equality of opportunity for all and helps to create awareness campaigns.

The Disability Discrimination Act covers employers or service providers as well as employers’ and service providers’ employees, but not their workers or clients. As of now, the Act covers only the federal government and bodies that are designated to enforce the Act within state borders. Organizations and individuals from other states can join the ministry. The minister of the state’s social care ministry must be a resident of the state and a licensed solicitor who practices in the state. The person must also be licensed to practice under an act approved in the state.

A person must complete and submit an Application to Membership to the ministry to be eligible to participate in the representation of social care ministries in their local districts. By doing so, persons give their representations that they meet all the requirements of the Act and that they are candidates eligible for a selection of places offered by the ministry. After approval of the application, individuals have the option to choose from among the available places. Persons with disabilities can choose between being an official delegate for a specific person, or being a representative of their clients, depending on their choice. Being a delegate gives them more rights and better access to services and resources.
